Assistance with getting in and out of bed
Teeth, mouth, denture, and hair care
Assistance with mobility and ambulation including use of walker, cane, or crutches
Changing the client’s bed and laundering the bed linens and the client’s personal clothing
Skin care, excluding wound care
Care of eyeglasses and hearing aids
Assistance with dressing and undressing
Toileting, including use and care of bedpan, urinal, commode, or toilet
Light cleaning in essential areas of the home used during personal care service activities
Meal preparation, food purchasing, and meal serving
Simple transfers, including bed to chair or wheelchair and reverse
Accompanying the recipient to obtain medical diagnosis and treatment
Regular monitoring of clients' health status
Supervision and oversight to ensure clients' safety and well-being, including fall prevention measures and monitoring for signs of infection or other health concerns.
Coordination of care services with healthcare providers, specialists, and other support services to ensure continuity of care and comprehensive support for clients' needs.
Advocacy on behalf of clients to ensure their preferences, rights, and interests are respected and upheld in all aspects of care delivery.
Temporary relief and support for family caregivers to prevent burnout and provide them with an opportunity for rest and self-care.
Provision of care services in the absence of the primary caregiver to ensure continuity of care for the client.
